Signal No. 1 issued for river ports in 4 regions

Signal No. 1 has been issued for river ports in four regions of the country due to the threat of storm. The Meteorological Department gave this information in a forecast today (May 2). Assistant Meteorologist Afroza Sultana said that rain or thunderstorms with gusty winds of 45-60 kilometers per hour from the west/northwest may occur temporarily in Tangail, Mymensingh, Comilla and Sylhet regions. River ports in these regions have been instructed to display warning signal No. 1.
