Iran should not have nuclear weapons, King Charles agrees with me: Trump

US President Donald Trump has said that Iran should never have the ability to build nuclear weapons—King Charles agrees with me on this. British King Charles III, who is visiting the United States, addressed the US Congress yesterday (April 28). On the same day, he attended a state dinner with US President Donald Trump at the White House. US President Donald Trump spoke about the situation in Iran at a dinner hosted in honor of the visiting British King Charles III.
In his speech at the White House, Trump said that Iran should never have the ability to build nuclear weapons—King Charles agrees with him on this. Noting that his administration is currently working on the situation in the Middle East, Trump said that the situation there is moving in a “very positive” direction.
Referring to Iran as an adversary in the speech, Trump said, “We have defeated that particular adversary militarily. We will never allow them to get nuclear weapons.’ In his speech to Congress, Charles said the partnership between the UK and the US was ‘more important’ than ever.
The king added that he was the 19th monarch in their royal family to regularly monitor US affairs. He said: ‘That is why I come here today with great respect for the US Congress. It is a place where the voices of all the people of the United States are heard and their rights and freedoms are protected.’
