Iran has already repaired 775 schools damaged in the war
Iranian Education Minister Alireza Kazemi said that 1,300 schools in the country were damaged by the US-Israeli attacks. Of these, 775 have been repaired so far. Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported the news. Kazemi said that about 20 schools have been completely destroyed. The worst-hit cities are Tehran, Kermanshah, Isfahan and Hormozgan provinces.
He added that the repair work on the most damaged schools is expected to be completed by October. The education minister said that despite the attacks, educational activities have not stopped. Classes are being held in person or online. Educational activities are also being carried out through Iran’s television schools.
Kazemi also said that counseling arrangements have been made for students to provide psychological support. In addition, mourning ceremonies were held in schools in memory of the 170 people killed in the missile attack on the Shahzareh Tayyebeh Girls’ School in Minab. Most of the victims were students and their teachers.
