Israeli airstrike kills 4 in Lebanon
According to Al Jazeera, four people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon. At least three others were seriously injured in the incident. The Qatar-based media outlet confirmed this information on Monday (April 13) citing the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that Israeli warplanes carried out the attack on the village of Marub in southern Lebanon. Four people were killed on the spot. At least three others were seriously injured in the attack. The injured were rescued and admitted to a local hospital. Among the dead was a one-and-a-half-year-old girl.
Israel has recently increased its attacks in southern Lebanon due to the ongoing tension in the border area. The region has now become a war zone, especially due to the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. It is feared that the number of casualties in this attack may increase. Meanwhile, there was no immediate comment from the Israeli military on this attack.
