Accused arrested in 18 wrist-cutting cases
Police have arrested terrorist Syed Md. Tuhin (39), who was named in a case filed with the Kotwali police station in Chittagong city. The law enforcement agency said that a total of 18 cases have been filed against him at different times.
Tuhin was arrested from the Amirbhandar area of Patiya police station on Wednesday (April 8) afternoon. Kotwali police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Aftab Uddin said that a person’s wrist was cut in an organized attack. In the case filed in this incident, charges have been filed against Tuhin under various sections of the Penal Code.
In addition, since 2015, there are 18 cases against Tuhin on various charges including weapons, drugs, preparation for robbery and kidnapping. These cases include multiple cases under the Arms Act, cases under the Narcotics Control Act and cases filed under various sections of the Penal Code. Tuhin was produced in court after his arrest.
