Israel ready to start war again at any moment: Netanyahu
Amid the announcement of a ceasefire between the United States, Israel and Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stark warning. He said, Israel is ready to start war again at any moment. Our finger is on the trigger. The Times of Israel reported this news.
He warned Iran in a televised news conference on Wednesday (April 8). Netanyahu said that the country’s foundation has been shaken in the six-week war with Iran and that Israel is now in a stronger position than ever.
He also said that Israel still has some goals to achieve. These include completely eliminating Iran’s uranium stockpile, which must be done through a deal or by force, and starting war again if necessary.
Netanyahu said that the ceasefire does not mean that Israel’s campaign against Iran is over. He said a two-week temporary ceasefire agreement had been signed after close coordination between Israel and US President Donald Trump, and that Iran would face a weaker opponent than ever before in the talks in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, he said Israel was determined to restore security in the north by continuing its campaign against the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
