US military to surround Iran: Trump

US President Donald Trump has said that US military ships and aircraft will surround Iran. He has warned that the US will start firing again if Tehran fails to meet the terms of the deal. On Wednesday (April 8), Trump said that all US ships, aircraft and military personnel, including additional ammunition and weapons, will remain in and around Iran until the war agreement is fully implemented.
He also said that if for any reason they fail to comply, then the firing will begin and a bigger, more powerful and more destructive attack will be launched than ever before. Earlier, Iran said yesterday that it would be unreasonable to move forward with talks on a permanent peace agreement with the US in the context of Israel’s devastating attack on Lebanon. Hundreds of people were killed in that attack.
The two sides have seen major differences in their positions on Iran’s nuclear program. Trump claimed that Iran has agreed to stop enriching uranium. However, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibof said that Iran will be able to continue enriching uranium under the terms of the ceasefire.
