Dubai Marina shaken by Iranian attack

Iran launched drone and missile attacks on the elite area of Dubai Marina, the commercial center of the United Arab Emirates. The international media outlet Al Jazeera reported that the attack was launched from Tehran on Saturday morning (April 4).
The UAE’s defense system tried to repel the attack after the attack. However, the debris of the repelled drone or missile hit a building in Dubai Marina. The Dubai Media Office reported that there was no fire or casualties at the scene.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that one person was killed and several others were injured in an Iranian attack on the Habsan gas facility in Abu Dhabi on Friday. The deceased was an Egyptian national. Among the injured were two Pakistanis and two Egyptians.
The Habsan gas facility is the largest natural gas processing facility in the United Arab Emirates. According to relevant authorities, a fire broke out after the attack and the facility was extensively damaged.
It is worth noting that tensions have been rising since the joint US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28. As a result, Iran has carried out retaliatory attacks targeting US-related installations in the Gulf region.
Although these attacks were initially limited to military installations, there is now a trend of hitting commercial installations as well. However, it is not yet clear whether any US institutions were directly targeted in the recent attack on Dubai Marina.
