The highest policy-making forum of the BNP party, the National Standing Committee, has called for a meeting. The meeting will be held at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, Dhaka at 8:30 pm today, Saturday (April 4). Party Chairman Tarique Rahman will preside over it. The last meeting was held a month before the elections. Party Chairman Tarique Rahman has called for the meeting again today.
However, the agenda of the meeting has not been announced in advance. It is learned that the meeting may discuss the current situation in the country, the Constitutional Reform Council issue, the July National Charter, the global energy crisis, the measles outbreak, reserved seats for women and various organizational issues of the BNP.
