Prime Minister inquires about the treatment of Shaheed Mughdher’s father
The Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman inquired about the treatment of Mir Mostafizur Rahman, the father of July Uprising martyr Mir Mughdher, who is undergoing treatment at the National Heart Institute and Hospital due to heart disease.
On his instructions, a delegation led by the Prime Minister’s personal physician Dr. Monowarul Qadir Bitu and in the presence of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ member secretary Mokhedul Momin Mithun visited the National Heart Institute and Hospital today (March 31). They supervised the overall treatment of Mughdher’s father and conveyed a message of condolences on behalf of the Prime Minister.
At this time, Shaheed Mir Mughdher’s father Mir Mostafizur Rahman prayed for the Prime Minister and Mughdher’s elder brother Mir Mahmudur Rahman expressed deep gratitude. Yesterday, Monday (March 30), Mir Mostafizur’s complex heart surgery was successfully completed. An experienced team of doctors led by renowned cardiologist and hospital director Professor Dr. Abdul Wadud Chowdhury performed the surgery.
According to BNP Media Cell sources, upon receiving the news of Shaheed Mughde’s father Mir Mostafizur Rahman’s illness, the Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman have instructed the Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary and convener of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ Atiqur Rahman Rumon to take necessary measures to inquire about his treatment and be by his side.
Among others who went to inquire about Mir Mostafizur on behalf of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ were – organization member Mustakim Billah, National Heart Institute DAB General Secretary Dr. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Associate Professor ATM Nurunnabi Shah, Assistant Director Dr. Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor Mahbur Rahman, Assistant Professor Dr. Professor Dr. Sadequl Islam, Legal Affairs Secretary of DAB Central Committee Dr. M. R. Hasan, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Chhatra Dal’s Azharul Islam Hamim, Md. Aman Ullah, Apu Debnath, among others.
