Iranian President’s Conditions for Ending the War
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the people’s spontaneous participation in the fight against the US and Israeli aggression is a manifestation of national unity and a decisive force in dealing with the current crisis. Pezeshkian, giving the conditions for ending the war, said that any solution or decision in this war imposed by the US and Israelis will be taken only after Iran’s conditions and national interests are protected.
A meeting of the Iranian cabinet was held yesterday (March 30) under the chairmanship of President Pezeshkian. The meeting reviewed the current state of the country in wartime conditions and evaluated the activities of various departments to maintain emergency services.
The meeting discussed in detail the overall situation of the country in the special wartime conditions, the supply system of daily necessities, and the steps taken by various ministries and service institutions. The cabinet members highlighted these issues in their respective department reports in order to continue services, stabilize the supply system, and maintain peace in the minds of the people.
Pezeshkian praised all sectors for providing uninterrupted services to the people during this crisis and said that increasing coordination and continuity of service among state institutions in confronting aggression are the main pillars of national capability. He said that it is important to maintain this trend until the final victory is achieved against the enemy.
He highly praised the valor of the country’s armed forces in defending Iran’s sovereignty and responding harshly to the invaders. He described the forces’ resistance as a “golden chapter” in the glorious history of the nation.
At the same time, he praised the unprecedented unity and massive rallies of the Iranian people in support of the Islamic system and the armed forces over the past month. He said that this conscious presence of the people is a manifestation of national unity and a powerful aid in overcoming the current situation. Masoud Pezeshkian concluded by saying that any decision to end the war will only be made by ensuring the protection of Iran’s honor, security, and national interests.
