Fuel crisis intensifies in the capital, queues of vehicles at pumps
The fuel crisis is intensifying. Transport drivers and owners have been waiting for hours at various filling stations and pumps in the capital since this morning.
Drivers of various types of vehicles including motorcycles, private cars, buses, trucks have been crowding the pumps since the early hours of this Tuesday (March 31) to get fuel. This has caused traffic jams on one part of the road. The impact of which has also spread to the surrounding areas.
Pump officials said that fuel will be supplied from Siddhirganj and Fatullah depots in Narayanganj by noon. Drivers said that they are not getting the required fuel even after waiting for hours. Pump officials also said that there is a tendency to hoard fuel due to rumors of a possible increase in fuel prices.
