Prime Minister meets opposition leader in his room

Opposition leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman met the leader of parliament, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, in his room. The meeting was held in the Prime Minister’s room in the parliament today (March 30) after the funeral prayers of Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed’s wife, Professor Dilara Hafiz, at the South Plaza of the parliament.
The Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon said that after the funeral formalities, the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman came to his room with the opposition leader. Later, the Prime Minister spoke for a while in his room.
After about 17/18 minutes, the Honorable Prime Minister came out of the room with the opposition leader and took him to his room. Local Government Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir were present in the meeting.
