Iran destroys US special plane

Iran has destroyed a special plane of the US Air Force. The Americans had only 16 of this model. This special radar-equipped plane was used to provide early warning and control the airspace. US officials confirmed this information to the Wall Street Journal.

This plane can detect fighter jets and missiles from hundreds of kilometers away using advanced radar technology. It is capable of giving military commanders an instant picture of the battlefield from the sky.
Before its destruction, the US had only 16 planes of this model. A few decades ago, the number was about 30. The Wall Street Journal reported that the E-3 Sentry fleet cannot be easily replaced. And even if it were to be replaced, it would have to be replaced with E-7 Wedgetail aircraft, each of which costs $700 million.
