Two hundred liters of diesel seized in Satkhira and sold at fair price
The upazila administration has seized two hundred liters of diesel illegally stored in Shyamnagar, Satkhira and sold it at fair price. On Saturday evening (March 28), the administration seized the diesel from M/s Raj Store in Bhetkhali Bazar of Ramjannagar Union of the upazila and sold it.
The owner of the business was collecting diesel from a local filling station and selling it at Tk 120 per liter after keeping it in his establishment.
Shyamnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shamsuzzahan Kanak said that multiple sources have been appointed to ensure that no one can store fuel illegally. According to the information given by the source, a raid was conducted at Raj Store and two hundred liters of diesel were seized and sold in the open market at fair price. Abdur Rahman, the owner of the accused business establishment, has been fined Tk 2,000.
