Final decision on 120 ordinances: Law Minister
The parliamentary special committee has taken final decisions on 120 ordinances out of the 133 ordinances issued during the tenure of the interim government. In this case, the constitution and the July Charter have been selected on a priority basis. Law Minister Md. Asaduzzaman said that everyone in the committee has agreed on the four ordinances related to July.
He told reporters after the adjourned meeting of the parliamentary special committee on ordinances held in the cabinet room of the parliament building today (March 25). The law minister said that work has been completed on almost all the ordinances. And the remaining few will be discussed on the 29th. I will submit a report after the review.
He also said that the government has not taken any steps beyond the July Charter so far. This is a very sensitive and respected area for us. Both the constitution and the July Charter are being given priority, said the law minister.
