‘243 teachers and students killed in Iran war’
At least 243 teachers and students have been killed in Iran since the war began. The Iranian Ministry of Education said this in a statement on Wednesday (March 25).
On February 28 of last month, the US-Israeli joint forces carried out airstrikes in Iran. The country’s top leaders were targeted. However, without checking old intelligence, Washington attacked a girls’ school instead of a military base. Several teachers and students of the school died on the spot. Many later died while receiving treatment in hospitals.
Meanwhile, the country’s Red Crescent Society said that more than 80,000 civilian facilities in Iran were damaged or destroyed by US and Israeli attacks.
