Case trading has spread across the country: Rumin Farhana
Member of Parliament from Brahmanbaria-2 constituency and former BNP leader Barrister Rumin Farhana has commented that case trading has spread across the country.
According to her, no one has spoken about case trading from the beginning, she is the first to say this. Hundreds of people are accused in each FIR. They take money to file false cases, and again to clear their names.
She made these comments as the chief guest at a reception in Islampur, Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria on Monday (March 23).
Rumin Farhana also said that cases will definitely be filed against those who are criminals, those who have committed criminal offenses. But those who have not committed any criminal offenses will not be named. I will not allow case trading to continue in this area.
This MP told the police, I will request the police brothers of the police station, when false cases come, please verify them.
“Another arrest has begun. If bail is granted, another case will come out at the jail gate. The consequences of these will not be good. At some point, we will have to stop. I will be in power for five years, I have taken revenge. And those who come new, they will take revenge on us. We will come again, we will take revenge. How much more revenge will we take and give. This time we have to think anew. The criminals must be brought to justice. But no innocent person should be punished without a crime,” he added.
