Two injured in clash over fuel line at filling station

Two people were injured in a clash between two parties over a fuel line in Kalukhali upazila of Rajbari. The incident took place on Monday (March 23) night at Sheikh Filling Station in Mohanpur area of ​​the upazila.
Locals said that due to fuel shortage, a long queue of motorcycles formed at the filling station at night. At that time, some tried to break the line and get fuel first, and an argument started with others waiting. At one point, it turned into a clash. This spread panic among the people present and the fuel supply was temporarily stopped.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalukhali Police Station Md. Mosharraf Hossain said that tension arose over standing in the fuel line. At that time, a young man hit another person with a key ring in his hand, causing a slight bleeding on his head. Later, the injured person was sent to the hospital for primary treatment. On receiving information, the police went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
