Due to the Iran-Israel war situation, the entry visa validity of expatriate workers coming to Bangladesh on vacation from Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates has been extended by one month. This information was given in a public notice issued by the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment on Saturday (March 14).
It said that in the context of the Iran-Israel war situation, the concerned countries have taken several steps for the workers whose visas have already expired or are about to expire and who are currently unable to renew their visas in the concerned countries.
The notice said that for visa renewal, workers coming to Bangladesh from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain should contact their employer, sponsor or guarantor of the concerned worker or apply online.
In addition, the governments of Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have already extended the validity of all entry visas that have expired or are about to expire by one month. The ministry said that this public notice has been issued to inform the concerned expatriate workers and to take necessary measures.
