Trump is lying about Iran’s school attack: Chuck Schumer

US Senate Democratic Party leader Chuck Schumer has accused US President Donald Trump of lying about the attack on Minabe Girls School in southern Iran that killed 165 students. The school was bombed on February 28, the day the US and Israel launched a war against Iran. It is alleged that more than 165 Iranian school students and staff were killed.
The blast is believed to have been caused by a US-made Tomahawk missile. It is considered the deadliest incident of the ongoing war so far. However, the US Department of Defense is investigating what happened. Trump has already claimed that Iran itself carried out the school attack. But he has not provided any evidence or explanation as to why Iran would do such a thing.
In a post on social media, Schumer wrote, ‘Donald Trump lied. Even Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has failed to provide proper reasoning.
