Drug dealer killed in Jatrabari, capital

A drug dealer named Mehedi Hasan Apu was killed by miscreants in Jatrabari, capital. Apu was killed by cutting his leg veins at a vegetable shop in Jatrabari after 9pm on Sunday (March 8).
Jatrabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Raju confirmed the matter. He said that the deceased Apu had been involved in drug trade in the Jatrabari area for a long time. He also said that the police are working to arrest those involved in the murder. The CID Crime Scene has collected evidence in the murder case.
Locals said that after the incident, the family members of the deceased took him to the hospital. An hour later, they left the body at the Jatrabari vegetable market and fled.
