Iran claims to have detained several US soldiers

Iran has said it has detained several US soldiers. The country’s National Security Council Secretary-General Ali Larijani made the announcement in a statement on Sunday (March 8) Bangladesh time. He said that several US military personnel have been detained since the war began a week ago.
However, he did not specify how many soldiers were detained. Also, the influential Iranian official did not give any details about how and where they were detained. It is noteworthy that there has been no information about any ground attack by US forces inside Iran since the war began on February 28.
