Iran death toll rises to 1,000, IRGC responds with missiles and drones

The United States and Israel have continued their attacks on Iran and Lebanon. At least 1,045 people have been killed in their combined attacks on Iran, Iranian state media reported on Wednesday (March 4).
In response, Iran has continued its attacks on US allies in the Middle East. On the fifth day of the ‘Fateh Khaibar’ operation, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) launched 17 missile and drone attacks on Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia in addition to Israel.
On the sixth day of the operation, Tehran fired new missiles at Israel at midnight. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the incident in a statement. Earlier, Iran had fired ballistic missiles at Turkey, a NATO ally of the United States. However, Ankara successfully shot them down. In addition, an Iranian missile hit Qamishli in northeastern Syria. There were no casualties.
Meanwhile, the IRGC carried out a drone attack on the headquarters of a Kurdish separatist group in Iraq. A drone from Tehran also hit the country’s Erbil airport. Saudi Arabia claimed that it intercepted three cruise missiles from Tehran in the city of Al-Kharj.
