Israel launches new attack on Iran
Israel has announced that it has launched a new attack on Iran. Earlier on Tuesday (March 3), the country reported attacks targeting the Iranian presidential palace and the residence of the top leadership. This information was reported in a report by the British media outlet BBC.
The report said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed to have destroyed about 300 missile launchers in Iran. At the same time, a telegram message said that multiple targets in Lebanon had been attacked.
In a statement, the IDF said, “Over the past 24 hours, hundreds of fighter jets and military aircraft have simultaneously attacked hundreds of targets in Iran and Lebanon.” They also said, “As part of the defense effort, the Israeli Air Force is continuously striking Iranian ballistic missile installations and air defense systems.”
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that everything in Iran has been uprooted. The country said it had struck more than 2,000 Iranian targets since the operation began on Saturday. In retaliation, Iran has launched missile attacks on US bases in various Middle Eastern countries and on Israel. Six US soldiers were reportedly killed in the attacks. According to a BBC report, more than 1,000 people have been killed in the attacks as of last night.
