Medical college decision made in Thakurgaon: Mirza Fakhrul

Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, we visited Thakurgaon General Hospital. Hospital officials and leaders and activists were present during the visit. We saw the hospital clean and tidy and are wondering whether the hospital can be further developed.
He said, you all know that a decision has been made to build a medical college here. The location has also been decided. We hope that healthcare will be further improved if the medical college is established. Once the medical college is established, the 250-bed hospital will be upgraded to 500 beds. So that the people of the area can get healthcare. We will always be vigilant. Today, Sunday (March 1) at 9 am, he told reporters after visiting Thakurgaon General Hospital.
The Local Government Minister said, I told the hospital superintendent, if you tell me what you need to improve the quality of healthcare, then we will take action on behalf of the government. In addition, the District Administrator will arrange for another lift in the hospital. Mirza Fakhrul said, “I will request the civil surgeon and hospital officials to work with our limited resources so that the health system of this district is good and the common people get good treatment. The issue of those who have been working in the hospital for a long time is also being investigated. Action will be taken soon.”
