Prime Minister works on holidays too
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman works on weekends too. Today, Saturday (February 28), he entered the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon to work at around 10:15 am. At this time, officials of various departments welcomed the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister exchanged views with the officials and employees and heads of subordinate departments there.
Earlier, today, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman worked at the Tejgaon office in the capital for the first time during the holidays. Before entering the main building of his office that day, he exchanged greetings with the officials and employees who served during the government of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami has invited Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to its Iftar mahfil. This Iftar will be organized at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in the capital today. Later, the party’s Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said that the Prime Minister has expressed interest in organizing this Iftar mahfil.
