The victim in this incident, Ali Wamim, has filed a GD at the Panchlaish Police Station in the city.
Ali Wamim Khan said that while the bike carrying him was going up the Bahaddarhat end of the Aktaruzzaman Flyover, accused Sayeed Hossain recklessly hit his black Nissan Xtrail (Chatt Metro-Gha 11-2312) with his car, causing him to fall along with the bike. At that time, accused Sayeed got out of the car and got into an argument. When people in other vehicles on the road took a stand against Sayeed, he moved away from there tactfully. Later, he came to Muradpur under Panchlaish police station and stopped the bike again, made Ali Wamim, the passenger sitting behind the bike, get off the bike and physically assaulted him.
Panchlaish police station SI Md. Nuruzzaman said that Ali Wamim has filed a GD against Sayeed Hossain on charges of intimidation and death threats. The matter will be investigated and legal action will be taken.
It is learned that the owner of the Nissan Xtrail (Chatt Metro-Gha 11-2312) used by Sayed Hossain is Abul Hashem of Fatikchhari. However, the person said that he had sold the car to Sayed, the son of the owner of Bahaddarhat Kashban Bhaban, a long time ago. After selling the car, he signed all the papers for the name change, but expressed surprise that the name has not been changed yet.
After investigation, it was learned that Sayed Hossain has become the owner of a huge amount of money in the Bahaddarhat area through his ancestral sources. He has a gym business on Bahaddarhat Arakan Road. The allegations against him of getting involved in disputes with various people are not new. Sayed Hossain, who joined Chhatra League while studying at Premier University, is most recently involved in the politics of the Volunteer League.
