Reshuffle at top level of police has begun: Home Minister

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said that reshuffle at top level of police has begun. He said this in response to questions from journalists after a meeting led by the Prime Minister at the Secretariat today (February 22).
The Home Minister said that on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President will convene the first session of the 13th Parliament on March 12. The posts of Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be finalized in that session. Along with this, an ordinance on the rule of the interim government will also be presented.
When asked whether there has been any discussion on the election of a new President, he said, no – there has been no discussion on this issue yet. The Home Minister also said that the posts of Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be finalized later. In addition, the Minister also said that prompt action will be taken in the riots in the capital last night.
