Saudi Ambassador pays courtesy call on PM

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Dhaka Dr. Abdullah Jafar H. Bin Abia called on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat on Sunday (February 22) morning. During the meeting, the Saudi Ambassador congratulated Tarique Rahman on the formation of the government and becoming the Prime Minister of the country. He also conveyed a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Saudi Crown Prince.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to the interests of the two countries. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the Saudi Ambassador mainly discussed the friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh, various socio-economic issues. Earlier, Tarique Rahman came to the Secretariat around 9 am to work in the Cabinet Division. Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar welcomed the Prime Minister.
