Family card to be launched this Ramadan

Family card is being launched in a pilot form during the month of Ramadan before Eid. This decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting on family cards at the Secretariat today, Thursday (February 19). Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Abdul Awal Mintoo told reporters after the meeting.
The minister said that the issue of family cards is mentioned in detail in the election manifesto. The family card will be given and how it will be implemented was discussed today. When journalists asked how many families will be given, the minister said that it is universal. There will be no restrictions on it.
However, a committee has been formed for this. Maybe it will start from the very poor, then the poor, then the middle class. When journalists asked whether it will be launched this Ramadan – the minister said that it will be launched as a pilot project before Eid. Our Prime Minister wants to start it as a pilot project at least before Eid. That’s all I know. There have been discussions on how the program will be launched.
