China’s incredible success in robotics, robots are learning kung fu

China has taken a step forward in the race of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). Recently, a Chinese technology company has created a humanoid (human-like) robot that is quite good at martial arts or martial arts. Even a video of these robots practicing kung fu in the traditional Shaolin Temple of China has already caused a stir around the world.
Artificial intelligence exhibition at Shaolin Temple:
In the first ten days of February, a video released by a company called ‘AIGI Bot’ showed a group of robots practicing kung fu with perfect coordination and agility. Looking at the balance and speed of the robots, it is hard to believe that they are mechanical objects. They perform physical exercises as smoothly as humans.
Technology charisma: Lingxi X2
These kung fu robots have been named ‘Lingxi X2’. The company said that the robots are controlled by the state-of-the-art AI model ‘Go to 1’. With this technology, the robots are not only capable of performing certain movements, but they are also able to learn, plan and perform various complex tasks on their own.
China’s continued success in robotics:
Of course, this is not the first time that robots in China have performed such amazing performances. Several of their robots have surprised the world before. In March 2025, a Shanghai-based company demonstrated a robot capable of riding a bicycle like a human. In May of that year, the same company responded by releasing a video of the robot doing gymnastics or physical exercises. According to experts, these humanoid (human-like) robots can revolutionize not only entertainment or exhibitions in the future, but also rescue work and complex industrial production. This video of a kung fu robot is now viral on social media, which has become a unique example of China’s technological excellence.
