Expatriate’s wife and two children murdered in Comilla

An expatriate’s wife and two children were murdered in Comilla’s Homna. The incident took place in Manipur village of the upazila early on Tuesday (February 17). The deceased are Papia Akhter Sukhi (25), wife of expatriate Zahirul Islam of the village, her son Hossain (4), and Jobayer (6), son of Abdus Sattar of the neighboring house. Meanwhile, the incident has spread widespread excitement in the area. The police are investigating the cause of the murder. Homna Police Station OC Morshedul Alam visited the scene.
Police and locals said that this morning, people around saw the door of expatriate Zahirul Islam’s house open and saw three bodies lying there. At that time, locals saw the expatriate’s wife and two children with their throats slit and informed the police.
