I am also a member of the family of martyred freedom fighters: Jamaat Ameer
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, I am also a member of the family of freedom fighters. Looking at the current picture of Bangladesh, my brother would not have participated in the Liberation War. The dream of the martyrs in the Liberation War was to build a country of equality and justice. But due to the failure of those who have governed the country in stages, the desired dream of the nation has not been fulfilled.
He said these things at an election rally at Newfield Ground in Habiganj yesterday (February 7). The Jamaat Ameer also said, have these countries, this nation and political leaders shown respect to those who have made us indebted by risking their lives? The martyrs dreamed that there would be security in society and justice would be ensured. In reality, nothing happened. Who is responsible for this?
Talking about women’s safety, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, there are some political friends who want to take off the clothes of their mothers and sisters. Don’t they have mothers and sisters? You should learn to respect your own mothers and sisters. If you learn to respect your mothers and sisters, then you will be able to respect the 90 million mothers and sisters of this country. We want to tell these brothers and sisters, please refrain from this bad act.
