Dhaka-8 constituency Mirza Abbas-Patwari war of words

BNP nominee Mirza Abbas and 11-party alliance nominee Nasiruddin Patwari campaigned in different places in the capital’s Dhaka-8 constituency. Participating in the campaign, Mirza Abbas said, “Children are talking nonsense, which is actually very annoying. Now they want us to learn from them. But we don’t want that.” On the other hand, Nasiruddin Patwari said, “If a goon, extortionist, corrupt and terrorist person uses muscle power and black money to stand in parliament or contest elections, then we will have to speak against him first.”
Mirza Abbas campaigned in the capital’s Khilgaon area this morning. He said, “Here is my home, everything is here. Those who do not want to see the development of the people are doing injustice to the people by behaving competitively with me. Here, the Awami League has destroyed everything from all sides in the past few days.” He added, “Some candidates have only my name on their lips, no other name.” They don’t even want votes. They are just talking eloquently against me.”
