Jamaat Ameer in Jessore: Threatening us with poker is useless

Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has commented that no one has the power to stop the ideological campaign of Jamaat on the occasion of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections. He said, “If someone comes to quarrel with us, then we will not let them go either. Threatening us with poker is useless.”
He made these comments while speaking as the chief guest at an election rally organized by the district branch at the central Eidgah ground in Jessore on Tuesday (January 27) morning. The Jamaat Ameer said, “Those who touch their mothers and sisters before winning the election and are strict in suppressing the opposition, if they win, the question remains how safe the country will be.”
He said, “On one hand, the family card, on the other hand, mothers and sisters cannot be touched. No one has the power to stop the ideological campaign of Jamaat. If the election campaign is obstructed or women are insulted, we will resist.”
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman alleged that the new fascists are campaigning against the referendum. He said, ‘If the yes vote is won in the referendum, fascism, extortion, and extortion will not continue. 180 million people want to see change. However, if the yes vote is not received, there will be no benefit in forming a government.’
Stating that various syndicates have taken over the entire Bangladesh, the Jamaat Ameer said, ‘If we come to power, all syndicates will be uprooted. We do not want unemployment allowance, but we want to make the unemployed skilled and work-oriented. Separate communication systems and public toilets will be provided for women. Security doors will be opened for all religions.’
Promising to upgrade Jessore Municipality to City Corporation if he comes to power, he said, ‘There will be no manipulation of the scales to protect the interests of the people. In this country, there will be politics of the people, not of families or parties.’
At that time, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, calling on the people to vote for Jamaat to build a safe Bangladesh and ensure justice, said, ‘Jamaat is one of the most oppressed parties in Bangladesh. Even after 17 years of oppression, the party has stood by the people.’
Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, leaders and activists from different levels of the district and the common people participated in the public meeting.
