Youth’s body found hanging from his house in Shahbagh

The hanging body of a youth named Kamal (25) was found from a house in Shahbagh in the capital. His body was recovered from his house at 9/5 Secretariat Road in Anandabazar on Sunday (January 18) night.
The relatives of the deceased said that Kamal committed suicide by hanging himself in his house last night. Later, upon realizing the matter, the relatives broke the door of his house and rescued him hanging from a rope from the fan and brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. After examination, the doctor on duty declared him dead at 10:45 pm.
Confirming the truth, Inspector Md. Faruk, in-charge of DMCH Hospital Police Outpost, said that the body has been kept in the hospital morgue. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station. However, the deceased’s father Kamal could not immediately find out anything about the reason and why he committed suicide by hanging himself.
