Starlink launches free internet service in Venezuela

SpaceX owner Elon Musk has announced free internet service for the people of Venezuela. It has been said that it will be effective for a certain period. Elon Musk made this announcement just as the Venezuelan president was detained by the United States. According to The Economic Times.
According to the report, Elon Musk confirmed the matter through a post on social media. The matter was also reported on SpaceX’s official Facebook page. The post on SpaceX’s official Facebook page said that Starlink service will continue until February 3 in solidarity with the people of Venezuela.
A video released by US authorities shows Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro being led away in handcuffs. Meanwhile, the country’s Supreme Court has ordered Vice President Delcy Rodriguez to take over as acting president.
