From driving a tempo to starting his own airline, Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma’s life is a unique and inspiring story. This entrepreneur from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh is now the founder of Shank Air, a new airline in India. According to Hindustan Times. Shravan was not very focused on his studies as a child. He worked in various jobs to earn a living. Once he drove a tempo. He also worked as a loader. His beginning in life was difficult.
However, failure did not stop him. He started a small business. Initially, he was not successful. Then in 2014, he joined the cement and steel business. Even then, it was as if he found Aladdin’s lamp. Wherever he touched, gold started sprouting. In a very short time, he strengthened his position in the transport sector. Over time, he built a huge truck fleet.
Four years ago, Shravan had a big dream. He planned to start his own airline. Long preparations began with that goal. He gave himself time to complete the necessary paperwork and approval process. Finally, his dream is on the way to reality. Shank Air has already received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation. The company plans to start operating flights in early 2026. Initially, Shank Air will operate with three Airbus aircraft. It plans to start flights from Lucknow to major cities including Delhi and Mumbai. There are also plans to expand domestic routes in the future. Shravan Vishwakarma believes that air travel is not just for the rich. His goal is to ensure that the common man can also travel by air at a low cost. Shravan’s journey from driving a tempo to air travel has become an inspiration for many young entrepreneurs today.
