The doctor who provided free treatment to 25,000 people is now an MP candidate

The country’s renowned medical and cardiologist Professor Dr. Col. (Retd.) Jehad Khan has collected nomination papers from Kishoreganj-3 (Tarail-Karimganj) constituency. He will now contest as the Jamaat-nominated MP candidate under the scale symbol.
Party sources said that Dr. Jehad Khan has already conducted 62 free medical camps in Tarail-Karimganj. He visits remote areas of villages four days a week to provide healthcare to people. About 25,000 people in the two upazilas have already received free healthcare from him.
Today, Wednesday (December 24), Professor Dr. Col. (Retd.) Jehad Khan, a member of Jamaat’s Central Majlish-e-Shura, collected nomination papers from Karimganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tahmina Akhter. Also present at the event were Tarail Upazila Jamaat Amir Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Karimganj Upazila Jamaat Amir Maulana Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque, Nayeb Amir Maulana Jobayer Ahmed, Secretary Maulana Nazim Uddin, Tarail Upazila Secretary S. M. Masud, Shibir’s former district president Khairul Islam, Shibir’s Karimganj Upazila president Mosabbir and others. Karimganj Upazila Jamaat Secretary Maulana Nazim Uddin said that Jehad Khan, known as the doctor of the poor, has already restored the eyesight of more than a hundred people in Karimganj and Tarail by performing free cataract surgeries. Preparations are underway to perform free cataract surgeries on 130 more patients next month. At the same time, he is in discussions in two upazilas to conduct free circumcision camps for children. Everyone is impressed by his behavior regardless of party affiliation, religion, or caste. We are 100% optimistic about his victory.
