Police have arrested District National Youth Shakti Joint Member Secretary Mosammat Tanima in connection with the shooting of Motaleb Sikder, leader of National Workers Party (NCP) affiliate organization in Khulna. He was arrested from the Tutpara area of ​​Sadar Police Station in a drive on Monday (December 22) night.
Motaleb Sikder, convener of Khulna divisional committee of National Workers Party, was shot in a flat rented by Tanima alias Tanbir. Police say that Yaba, empty liquor bottles and bullet shells were found in the house where Motaleb was shot.
Initially, officials believe that his associates shot Motaleb. The bullet hit his ear. Doctors said that Motaleb Sikder, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, is out of danger. The family said that Motaleb was once associated with the Sramik League. A few months ago, he joined the National Workers Force, an affiliate organization of the NCP.
