Today, Monday (December 29), the lowest temperature recorded in Tentulia was 12 degrees Celsius at 9 am. The humidity was 98 percent. The wind speed was 10-12 kilometers per hour and the highest temperature yesterday was 16.7 degrees Celsius.
The surrounding area has been covered in dense fog since morning. As the day progressed, the sun has not been seen for the last 7 days. The entire sky in the district is cloudy. Hardworking and hardworking people have faced the most problems due to the temperature fluctuations. Many have left their homes in search of work, but are not able to join work on time. Jabbar Hossain, a tractor driver in Kayetpara area of ​​Sadar Upazila, said that there has been a lot of fog since morning and when going to cultivate the land, one cannot see far. The cold is felt even more due to the wind.
Raju, a farmer from the same area, said, “I am preparing land for maize and wheat cultivation, but I am not able to work properly in the cold and wind. My hands and feet are shaking in the cold, which makes it difficult to work.” Meanwhile, the number of patients at Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital is increasing day by day. Children and adults are suffering from cold, fever, cold and cough. Meanwhile, Jitendra Nath Roy, senior observer at Tentulia Meteorological Observatory, said, “Although the temperature has increased, the cold is felt more due to the cold wind coming from the northwest. The temperature will start decreasing from the beginning of January.”
