TFI Cell Case: Indictment of 17 including Sheikh Hasina to be framed today

The order to frame charges against Sheikh Hasina and 17 others including former and current army officers in the Task Force for Interrogation Cell (TFI) disappearance and torture case during the Awami League regime is today. Today, Sunday (December 21), the chairman of the International Crimes Tribunal-1, Justice Md. Golam Mortuza, will give this order to a three-member judicial panel led by Majumder.
As a result, it will be known whether the trial of the accused will begin. Meanwhile, 10 army officers arrested in this case will be presented to the tribunal. Earlier, the state party concluded the formal charge-making hearing on December 3. In the hearing, Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam presented a horrific picture of disappearance and torture. However, the lawyers of the army officers claimed their innocence and demanded their acquittal.
Meanwhile, in the Rampura murder case, the lawyers of army officers Redwanul Islam, Rafat Bin Alam and two police officers will hold a hearing today. Redwanul Islam and Rafat Bin Alam have been arrested in this case. They will be produced before the tribunal.
