What the CEC said after meeting the Chief Justice

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said that the schedule for the 13th National Parliament may be announced this week. He told reporters after meeting Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed on Tuesday (December 9). They had a private meeting for about an hour in the Chief Justice’s private room.
Earlier, he came to the Supreme Court directly from the Election Commission. The CEC was welcomed by Registrar General Muhammad Habibur Rahman Siddiqui. As per tradition, the CECs meet the Chief Justice before announcing the country’s election schedule. On December 7, Election Commissioner (EC) Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah said that the schedule for the 13th National Parliament elections and referendum will be announced by December 15.
