‘Hasina is responsible for Khaleda Zia’s critical condition’

BNP National Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said, ‘BNP President and National Leader, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, is undergoing treatment in the hospital in a critical condition. Sheikh Hasina has conspired to kill our uncompromising leader Begum Khaleda Zia by administering poison to her body. Sheikh Hasina is responsible for Begum Khaleda Zia’s such condition.’
He said these things at an election road meeting organized on behalf of Paddy Sheesh at the Phansiakhali School Ground of Chakaria Upazila in Cox’s Bazar-1 (Chakaria-Pekua) area yesterday (December 2) evening. During this time, he sought prayers from everyone for Begum Khaleda Zia. He said, ‘The country has transformed into a democracy by sending away the fascist Hasina through a mass uprising in 2024. Now we can all talk. I got the opportunity to meet you.’
Salahuddin Ahmed said, ‘Some parties went crazy about PR. Now, even after the elections are approaching, they are not being informed. I had said earlier that this PR will not last. In the 2008 elections, the Moinuddin-Fakhruddin government brought the Awami League to power by conspiring with neighboring countries. The puppet government of that neighboring country used Sheikh Hasina to kill the country’s democracy and turn it into a fascist government.’
Former minister Salauddin Ahmed’s wife and former MP from Cox’s Bazar-1 (Chakaria-Pekua) constituency Advocate Hasina Ahmed, District BNP President Shahjahan Chowdhury, General Secretary Advocate Shamim Ara Swapna, Chakaria Upazila BNP President Enamul Haque, General Secretary M. Mubarak Ali, Chakaria Municipality BNP President Alhaj Nurul Islam Haider, General Secretary Abdur Rahim and leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations.
Salauddin Ahmed’s Press Secretary Md. Safwanul Karim said, ‘This is only an election-oriented tour. He will stay in his own area for about a week during this visit. After that, he will visit each ward of Chakaria-Pekua in turn and exchange views with the people and will be informed about the problems and prospects of the area.’
Pekua Upazila BNP President M. Bahadur Shah and General Secretary Iqbal Hossain have already made preparations to make the mass contact program successful by exchanging views with leaders and activists in each union and ward.
Iqbal Hossain said, ‘After returning to his constituency after almost 14 years, former minister Salahuddin Ahmed is directly communicating with the people. This is a big motivation for our leaders and activists. We want his mass contact to be successful in every ward.’ It is worth noting that before the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, BNP National Standing Committee member and former minister Alhaj Salahuddin Ahmed has started a formal campaign and mass contact for his constituency Cox’s Bazar-1 (Chakaria-Pekua) paddy sheesh after a long 14 years.
