Nationwide prayer and supplication program on Friday for Khaleda Zia’s recovery

BNP has taken up a special prayer and supplication program across the country for the recovery of party chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital in the capital. Special prayers and supplications will be held across the country after Friday prayers on Friday (November 28). BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information.
As part of the program, party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and senior leaders will be present at the prayer and supplication program after Friday prayers on the ground floor of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan. In addition, local leaders and activists have been instructed to organize prayers and supplications in each district. 79-year-old former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various complications including arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems for several years.
Khaleda Zia went to London on January 7 for advanced treatment. After staying in London for 117 days for treatment, she returned to the country on May 6. It is worth noting that Khaleda Zia’s name has been announced as BNP’s candidate for 3 seats, including Feni-1, in the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
