‘Tarun Chhatra Oikya’ panel announced for JOCSU elections

The youngest students of the first year (20th batch) of the university have announced the ‘Tarun Chhatra Oikya’ panel for the Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JOCSU) and Hall Parliament elections. Today, Tuesday (November 18), at around 3 pm, the students of that batch announced the panel on the ground floor of the university’s Bhasha Shaheed Rafiq Bhaban.
The panel will elect Statistics Department student Tawsin Islam as Vice President (VP) for the 2024-25 academic year, English Department student Khandaker Salil Alam Araf as General Secretary (GS) and Shahriar Rahman Abir as Assistant General Secretary (AGS) for the same academic year.
Md. Ashiful Akash has been nominated as Science and Technology Secretary, Shuvra Mandal as Literature and Culture Secretary, Abdullah Saleh Chowdhury as Sports Secretary and Akramuzzaman as Social Service and Student Welfare Secretary. Also contesting for the post of executive member are Rakibul Hasan, Pavel Anam, Sadman Safin and Mushfiqur Rahman.
