Two petrol bombs thrown at preparatory school on motorcycles at midnight

Two petrol bombs were thrown at a preparatory school on Iqbal Road in Mohammadpur in the capital. The incident took place at 12:04 am on Tuesday (November 11). However, no one was injured in the incident. Police said that four people on two motorcycles came and hurled two petrol bombs at the preparatory school in quick succession. They later fled with the motorcycles.
CCTV footage showed that two motorcycles came and stopped in front of the preparatory school at night and looked around. The drivers of two of them were wearing helmets; the other two were wearing masks and hats. Then, one of them got off the motorcycle and set fire to the petrol bombs and hurled two bombs at the school. They later fled.
Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Rafique Ahmed confirmed the matter. He said that two petrol bombs were hurled at the school. However, no casualties were reported. Police were sent to the spot on receiving information.
