Truck loses control and hangs over flyover
A road accident occurred in the Bhuighar Bus Terminal area of Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road in Fatulla, Narayanganj. Today, Monday (September 29), at around 1:30 pm, a truck lost control while going from Chashara towards the signboard and the railing of the Bhuighar underpass flyover collapsed. Locals said that the truck was moving at a high speed. The accident occurred when the driver suddenly lost control. A pedestrian was seriously injured in this. He was rescued with the help of locals and sent to Agargaon Pangu Hospital. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control and normalized traffic.
Fatulla Model Police Station OC Shariful Islam said that no death has been reported in the incident so far. One person has been seriously injured. Police have been deployed at the spot and legal action is being taken.
