Conspiracy to remove BNP from politics through propaganda: Rizvi

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that a conspiracy is underway to remove BNP from the political arena through propaganda like the 1/11 era.
He made this allegation while participating in a program at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday (September 22).
Rizvi said, “A terrible propaganda has been being carried out against BNP since August 5. When we were going to conduct organizational activities, various political parties, starting from the government’s advisors, started attacking BNP. We can match this with the theory of 1-11.”
He also said, “National and international conspiracies are not stopping. There may be attempts to sabotage and cause unpleasant incidents around Durga Puja.” At that time, he ordered party leaders and activists to be on guard at the puja mandap round the clock for the safety of the followers of traditional religions.
Rizvi further alleged that qualified and deprived officials have been made unimportant in the administration due to their involvement with Chhatra Dal. Supporters of a particular political party are being made DC-SP. At that time, he also criticized the role of Senior Editor Mokhlesur Rahman.
Yesterday, BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General made the same allegation at the National Press Club. At that time, he said that propaganda is being spread against BNP through various statements.
Earlier, last Saturday, party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the same allegation at the Kishoreganj District BNP triennial conference. He said that many conspiracies and propaganda are going on against BNP. However, BNP is a party like a phoenix bird. It has been tried to be killed repeatedly. But no one could do it.
